Introduction To Jorden Mclaughlin Photography
I am a young dedicated photographer who has been active since October 2017. Since October 2017, I have shot a considerable number of gigs for many underground and break-out bands. Rather than studying photography in an educated environment, I have instead opted for teaching myself and finding my own style, which I feel has paid off better for my abilities. While there are still areas for potential development, I am happy with my decision to self-teach. Though currently a freelancer, I started to do work for Distorted Sound Magazine (Over 3k Likes on Facebook) in February, which has given me the chance to shoot larger bands and larger venues (For example, Ministry @ o2 Forum, Kentish Town) and explore my photography style to a greater potential. Some of the venues I have shot in have been a challenge, but I believe I learn from these challenges, so I embrace them with an open mind and consider them as an opportunity to increase my skill. I have had two of my photos featured in the Surrey Advertiser Newspaper from a charity all-dayer “Save our Star”.
